Energy Access

Project for Ongoing Training in Energy and Electronics for ETEC Teachers in São Paulo

In partnership with Educando, Schneider Electric, a leader in energy management and sustainability, has launched a project to train teachers from 35 State Technical Schools (ETEC) at the Paula Souza Center in São Paulo. This initiative, based on the STEM methodology, aims to equip teachers with advanced technologies and updates in areas such as energy, basic electricity, industrial automation, and renewable energy, benefiting over 120,000 technical course students.

Through its Foundation, Schneider Electric will fund the acquisition of 514 educational workbenches to be distributed across the ETECs, and Educando will provide STEM training for teachers, enhancing practical teaching in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology.

The program, one of the largest initiatives by the Schneider Foundation globally, seeks to prepare students for an increasingly digital job market focused on sustainable solutions. This partnership aims to impact 160,000 students over the next five years, promoting scientific and technical careers recognized by the job market.

This project is essential for keeping teachers and educational programs up-to-date, strengthening the employability and knowledge of ETEC graduates.
