The association emerged to cover the need to defend the interests and equal rights and opportunities of women researchers and technologies in Spain. It is a non-profit association open to all those men and women who carry out their work in the field of scientific and technological research, and who share its objectives. AMIT aims to serve as a voice, a discussion forum and support network for all those who are aware of the importance of working together to achieve the full participation of women in Research, Science and Technology.
