The Portuguese Association for Diversity and Inclusion (APPDI) is a non-profit association whose mission is to promote diversity and inclusion (D&I) in organizations and civil society, through the promotion of initiatives such as the Portuguese Charter for Diversity ( which it manages and coordinates), the Engineers for a Day Program (a Government initiative that aims to raise awareness of STEM career options for students up to the age of 18) and the Divers@s and Ativ@s Project: Promotion of Diversity and Non-Discrimination in the Scope Professional (who promotes diversity and tolerance, combating discrimination in the work of human resources professionals and labor inclusion professionals). APPDI has been developing a set of initiatives, such as thematic working groups, tools and training and awareness-raising actions.
