Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) created the project ‘Som Investigadores’, with the support of the Barcelona City Council and with the aim of bringing children closer to technological careers, especially to attract the attention of girls. To achieve this objective, visits to the supercomputer were made to help increase the presence of girls in STEM races. The Catalan music group Les Macedonia has also joined the project, presenting the song “MareNostrum” in a video clip and performing at the project’s presentation ceremony.
