She is a qualified structural engineer living in London and working at Curtins. She also has a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Edinburgh, and has a strong interest in sustainable energy and construction, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. In fact, she has written both of her theses on these topics.
